A table lamp of smoked glass, opal light and black marble, where every part is allowed to be exactly what it is. Designed, engineered and visualized in house.
A column of opal glass carries the light. Around it, a smoked glass shade with soft, squared shoulders keeps the glow in view instead of hiding it, and a disc of black marble closes the top.
Every part is one simple turned volume, and each is honest about its material: glass that shows its depth, metal that shows its weight, stone that shows its grain. A fine brass ring marks the one place where marble meets glass, so the joint becomes a detail rather than something to hide.
The stem changes and the idea stays. Satin metal, polished chrome or black marble: one architecture, several characters, each at home on a side table, a shelf or a desk.
